A decision on whether to accept or reject the plan is expected in the near future

(Web Desk): Qatar and Egypt have delivered US President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace proposal to Hamas’ negotiation team, a development now confirmed by Hamas itself.
According to Arab media reports, both Qatar and Egypt have handed over a copy of President Trump’s Gaza peace plan to the Palestinian resistance group Hamas. Hamas has acknowledged receipt of the proposal and stated that it will thoroughly review the document. However, the group has not yet issued an official stance or reaction regarding the plan.
Earlier, a Hamas leader had claimed that they had not received Trump’s Gaza peace proposal in written form. Now that a copy has been delivered, a decision on whether to accept or reject the plan is expected in the near future.
This development is seen as a significant step toward ending the ongoing war in Gaza and establishing peace in the region.
It is worth noting that President Trump had announced the Gaza peace deal during a press conference with the Israeli Prime Minister, stating that all Muslim and Arab countries had agreed to the proposal.
Details of President Trump’s 20-point peace proposal for a Gaza ceasefire have also emerged. The proposed points include immediate ceasefire, freezing of current frontlines, release of all 20 living hostages within 48 hours, return of remains of 24 deceased hostages.
This progress addresses the major question raised recently, when a Hamas leader had clearly stated that they had not received the plan in written form. Now, Hamas’ confirmation of receiving the proposal and its commitment to study it has renewed hopes for peace in the war-torn region.
President Trump’s 20-point plan lays out a comprehensive roadmap to end the two-year war in Gaza. It includes immediate ceasefire, hostage exchange, disarmament of Hamas, phased withdrawal of Israeli forces, formation of a transitional government.
Qatar and Egypt have acted as mediators, delivering the proposal to Hamas in an effort to bring the Palestinian group to the negotiating table and pave the way for peace.
