Lahore: Provincial Minister Fayyazul Hasan Chohan has been appointed as spokesperson of Punjab government.
According to details, the approval of his appointment has been notified by Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar.
Chohan will also serve as Punjab’s colonies minister, meanwhile Chief Minister Punjab will also hold the additional portfolio of provincial information minister.
On November 02, 2020, Fayyazul Hasan Chohan was removed as the provincial information minister and Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan was appointed as special assistant on information to Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
On August 06, 2021, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan resigned as special assistant to Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on information on Friday citing "unavoidable personal grounds".
