September 11, 2021 marked the 20 years anniversary of the 9/11 attacks shook the world to its core.

On this day in 2001, the World Trade Center and Pentagon fell prey to the terrorist attack and what ensued afterwards is privy to none.
All the theories and concepts of International Relations were reduced to rubbles and this moment was a watershed one changing the trajectory of the whole world.
This moment precipitated the Global War on Terror in which Pakistan played a key role and was the eye of the storm.
Pakistan has incurred immense loss in this war and was of the opinion since the start that the “Only Political Solution” of this predicament is a viable option.
Now in 2021, America and its allies withdrew their forces from Afghanistan after the 20 years of prolonged war squandering trillions of dollars. Again the solution on which the world agreed is a political one and Afghanistan is once again free from the clutches of foreign powers.
As per reports, the Taliban are expected to hold an oath-taking ceremony of its interim cabinet (September 11).
