Karachi: The Pakistan customs officials Monday seized smuggled goods worth more than Rs70 million in Bolton market Karachi.
According to the customs spokesperson, the Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) seized items including imported cigarettes, Indian gutka, tobacco, cosmetics and other items. During the operation, there was resistance from the smugglers.
The spokesperson stated, the ASO team transferred the smuggled items to the Customs Enforcement Headquarters, while a case was registered against the accused under the Customs Act and further investigations were underway.
