Peshawar: Government of Khyber Pakhtukkhwa (KP) Monday signed the agreement of International Monetary Fund (IMF), GNN reported.
According to the agreement, KP government will release a surplus budget of Rs95 billion for the upcoming financial year 2023-24.
Whereas, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had signed the surplus budget of Rs117 billion for the ongoing financial year, sources told. This difference causes the loss of at least Rs200 billion to KP government.
It has also been stated that the agreements has been sent to the central government after approval of provincial cabinet.
