Quetta imposes emergency in hospitals owing to Muharram
All the employees including doctors and medical staff have been instructed to cancel their leaves.
Quetta: Authorities have decided to impose emergency in all hospitals of Quetta during Muharram.
According to details, Additional Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Anwar Kakar chaired a meeting of the District Health Committee which decided to impose emergency in the hospitals of Quetta and to allocate an emergency ward in all the hospitals to deal with the emergency situation.
In this regard, all the employees including doctors and medical staff in hospitals have been instructed to cancel their leaves and ensure their presence on duty.
Apart from this, 10 ambulances will be on high alert at different places in the city while camps will also be set up at other places including Alamdar Road and Bacha Khan Chowk.
During Muharram, it was also decided to maintain 24-hour emergency in the trauma center, while the ambulances of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) will also be on high alert.
Moreover, all the CCTV cameras installed in the city will be kept in proper condition.
