Saudi Arabia has started to end the passport visa sticker for citizens of 12 more countries, including Pakistan.


Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has removed the condition of visa sticker for Pakistani passports also under which employment, iqama, visit and transit visas will now be issued online. However sticker visas already issued will still remain valid.
Foreign newspaper reported that Saudi Arabia has started implementing the decision to end the passport visa sticker for citizens of 12 more countries, including Pakistan.
In addition to Pakistan, visa stickers have also been canceled for the citizens of Turkey, Lebanon, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Thailand, Vietnam, Yemen, Sudan, Uganda and Kenya. E-Visa will be issued with QR code in future.
The Civil Aviation Department of Saudi Arabia has informed all the airlines in writing that instead of the passport visa sticker, paper visa will be printed in which the information related to the passenger will be entered. While information regarding the validity of visas will be obtained through QR code.
