Islamabad: Shah Mahmood Qureshi, former foreign minister has approached the Islamabad High Court, challenging three physical remand orders issued under the Official Secrets Act.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi has requested the Islamabad High Court to declare the trial court's orders of August 20, 21, and 25 as null and void, which subjected Cypher to judicial remand after being deemed in contempt.

In his appeal, Shah Mahmood Qureshi has formed a team comprising federal representatives and the Interior Secretary.

Stating his stance, Shah Mahmood Qureshi asserted that he has undergone scrutiny by the FIA and records confirm that C's transcript lies within the possession of the Foreign Ministry.

Despite the facts, the FIA arrested Cypher and subjected him to three instances of physical remand.

The plea emphasizes that a case has been filed based on the federal government's shared sufferings due to poverty. The position taken affirms that Cypher, through Telegram, neither obtained nor disclosed its transcript to any unauthorized individual.
