Raj Kundra opens up about humiliating jail experience
Raj Kundra was apprehended by the Mumbai Police on July 19, 2021, on charges related to producing explicit content.

Mumbai: Businessman Raj Kundra, who was arrested by the Mumbai Police in July 2021 for his involvement in the production of adult films, has shared some candid insights into his time spent behind bars.
Kundra, who is married to Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, was incarcerated at Arthur Jail for approximately two and a half months before being granted bail.
During a recent interview with Indian media, he discussed the challenging and humiliating aspects of his jail experience.
One particularly degrading aspect, he revealed, was the mandatory strip search conducted in front of others to check for drugs.
This experience left him feeling deeply disheartened, as it stripped him of his dignity.
He went on to express his disappointment and concern, stating that he initially believed that the media had exposed him.
This incident had a profound impact on him.
It's worth noting that the trailer for Kundra's upcoming film, "UT 69," has been released.
The movie's storyline revolves around his time in jail in 2021, lasting approximately two months.
However, the trailer doesn't address the specifics of the pornography case he was involved in.
