This month, 85 people have been affected from the virus across Sindh.


Karachi: Dengue virus continues to be on the rise not only in Punjab but also in Sindh as 10 new cases of the disease have been reported in Karachi and Hyderabad each.
According to the report of the Sindh Health Department, four new cases of dengue have been reported from the eastern and southern districts of Karachi each.
Two new cases of dengue have been reported from Central district of Karachi.
This month, 85 people have been affected from the virus across Sindh, while 39 cases have been reported from Karachi.
17 new cases in Rawalpindi
On the other hand, dengue virus has been confirmed in 17 more people of Rawalpindi during the last 24 hours.
In the city adjacent to the capital, the number of people affected by dengue this season has risen to 2431. 57 dengue patients are under treatment out of which two are in critical condition.
District administration of Rawalpindi said that seven cases have been registered in the last 24 hours for violating dengue SOPs.
The district administration also stated that a total of 4359 cases have been registered for violation of SOPs while 637 buildings have been sealed.
