Washington: The heavy snow fall has caused 43 casualties in nine states of America.

The life system was paralyzed due to the powerful blizzard in several states of US. Many buildings were affected, while more than 10,000 people are without electricity. According to the report of the British broadcaster, 43 people have died in nine states so far.

In addition to the deaths and damage, flight schedules have also been severely affected, while several schools and offices have been closed due to the extreme cold. The National Weather Service has warned of more snow next week.

Snow falling from the mountains in the capital Washington closed the White Pass Highway, but crews cleared the highway and reopened it for traffic.
