The Muslim League (N) also sought an injunction on the July 12 decision

Islamabad: A review petition against the decision of reserved seats was filed in the Supreme Court.
A review application has been filed by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), in which 11 parties including the head of the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Sahibzada Hamid Raza and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) have been made parties.
The Muslim League (N) also sought an injunction on the July 12 decision.
The position was taken in the petition that PML-N is the largest political party in Parliament. The Supreme Court should review the decision of July 12 and withdraw it.
In the petition filed, it was requested that a stay order be granted on the Supreme Court decision till the final decision of the case.
It is pertinent to note that on July 12, the Supreme Court annulled the decision of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) and the ECP in the case of the reserved seats of the SIC and declared the PTI entitled to the reserved seats.
