Myanmar witnessed its deadliest day since military took control of the country a month ago with violent clashes between protestors and security forces.

According to details, at least 38 people were killed in Myanmar with security forces opening fire on protestors with rubber and live bullets.
The country is marred by mass protests and acts of civil disobedience since military seized power on February 01.
The demonstrators are demanding an end to military rule and the release of elected government leaders including Aung San Suu Kyi, who were overthrown and jailed in the military coup.
As per local and international media, security forces opened fire without issuing warnings on large crowds in a number of cities resulting in several casualties and injuries.
Among the dead and injured include women and children.
Reacting to deaths, the United Kingdom (UK) called for a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meeting, while the United States (US) said that action against Myanmar's military is under consideration.
The latest violence comes a day after Myanmar's neighbors urged the military to exercise caution and restraint.
The coup and suppression of protests that followed have led to international condemnation, which has so far been ignored by Myanmar’s military officials.
