Islamabad: Opposition parties have finalized its strategy as Prime Minister Imran Khan will seek vote of confidence from parliament tomorrow.
According to sources, a meeting of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was held in Islamabad in detailed consultations were held on the issue between Pakistan Muslim League –Nawaz (PML-N) President Maryam Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto.
It was decided in the meeting that opposition would fully participate in the assembly session convened on Saturday.
All opposition members have been instructed to reach Parliament House in order to register their protest.
Voting will not be participated in the process, sources said.
On Wednesday, in the most highlighted and awaited contest of Senate elections, former Prime Minister and Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) joint candidate Yousuf Raza Gillani thumped PTI candidate Abdul Hafeez Sheikh. Gillani registered his victory from an Islamabad’s General seat.
The victory of opposition came as major blow for PTI, after which Prime Minister Imran Khan decided to take a vote of confidence from Parliament.
