BAP parliamentary leader advises PM Imran not to adopt confrontation
BAP and GDA delegates meet with Prime Minister Imran Khan
Islamabad: Balochistan Awami Party's parliamentary leader Nawabzada Khalid Magsi advised Prime Minister Imran Khan not to adopt confrontation with the Opposition and deal in a democratic way.
Sources told GNN that Magsi told the premier that the no-confidence motion was a democratic process that should be adopted to tackle the political crisis. "The party is in the process of consultation and will soon make the decision."
The BAP leader said three years had passed and their concerns hadn't been heard.
The BAP delegation called on the prime minister. During the meeting, overall political situation in the country was discussed.
Minister for Defence Production Zubaida Jalal, Robina Irfan, Sardar Israr Tareen and Mir Ahsan Reki, members of the National Assembly, were included in the delegation.
A delegation of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) led by Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Dr Fehmida Mirza Monday called upon Prime Minister Imran Khan to express their confidence in his leadership and the government’s public welfare policies.
Ghous Bux Mahar, a member of the National Assembly and Dr Zulfiqar Mirza were included in the delegation.
Federal ministers including Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Asad Umar and SAPM Dr Shahbaz Gill also attended these meetings.
