Elon Musk changes Twitter name to ‘Elona’

Elon Musk has changed his Twitter name to ‘Elona Musk’ after Ramzan Kadyrov— a Kremlin ally—took a dig at the SpaceX CEO as he openly challenged Russian President Vladimir Putin for a “single combat” over Ukraine.

Kadyrov took to Telegram to issue a warning to the SpaceX chief.

The CEO of Tesla, shared the screenshot of a Telegram post by Kadyrov, who accused him of serious human rights violations in the heavily controlled Caucasus republic by international NGOs.

“Elon Musk, a word of advice: Don’t measure your strength against that of Putin’s. You’re in two completely different leagues,” Kadyrov said in the opening of his long post.

The head of the Chechen Republic, hit out at Elon Musk saying he should not compare himself with Putin.

Russian president will “beat the hell out of you, a much weaker opponent,” the statement added.

Following the post, Musk shared it with his millions of followers on Twitter.

The billionaire responded sarcastically, changing his name to Elona on Twitter and tweeting, “Thank you for the offer, but such excellent training would give me too much of an advantage”.

“If he is afraid to fight, I will agree to use only my left hand and I am not even left-handed,” he added, signing off as ‘Elona’.

The 50-year-old billionare has been vocal about his support of Ukraine—he had earlier sent Starlink terminals to the war-hit country to keep internet services running.
