With latest increase of Rs1,400 per tola, the commodity cumulatively rose by Rs2,400 in the four days (Friday-Tuesday)


Karachi: The gold price in Pakistan surged to a historic high of Rs134,400 per tola on Tuesday after all-time high flight of US dollar against Pakistani rupee.
With fresh increase of Rs1,400 per tola and Rs1,200 per 10 gram, the gold prices settled at Rs134,400 and Rs115,226, respectively.
The gold prices have witnessed upward trend for the last four successive working days in the domestic market.
With a fresh increase of Rs1,400 per tola, the commodity cumulatively rose by Rs2,400 in the four days (Friday-Tuesday). The bullion price had stood at Rs133,000 per tola on Monday.
In the international market, the price of yellow metal recorded a meagre gain of $3 per ounce to settle at $1,863.
