Kailash Kher recalls suicide attempt over constant failures
The singer who has many super-hit songs on his credit has now become a star of the Indian entertainment industry.


Mumbai: Renowned singer Kailash Kher revealed on Friday that once he tried to end his life because of constant failures.
Kailash Kher who has many super hit songs including Ya Raba, Teri Deewani, Arziyan, Allah Ke Bande, Chand Adiyar and others on his credit.
“There was a stage in my life when I thought that I should commit suicide,” revealed the singer, explaining the very reason behind his disappointment.
He went on to say that he did many odd jobs for his survival which most people hesitated to do, adding that he started his own business in Dehli when he was about 20 years old.
Kailash was of the view that he used to make handmade items, used to export to Germany but unfortunately the business suffered a huge loss after which he decided to become a Rishikesh Pandit'.
The loss, he said, indulged him into inferiority complex and the constant failures became his luck, pushing him to take his own life.
“I thought to jump into river Ganga,” he recalled.
A man saw him jumping into the river and he jumped behind him to save his life, asking him as to why did he do so if he did not know how to swim.
He said he responded him, “death”.
At this, the savior slapped on his head and scolded him a lot.
