Punjab gets first spring shower

Lahore: Drizzle started from Monday night in different areas of Lahore and continued intermittently till Morning.

Even in the federal capital, the rain has caused the temperature to drop and the winter spell seems to have returned.

The rain continued at Abbott Road, Lakshmi Chowk, Shimla Pahari, Canal Road, due to which the temperature dropped and weather became pleasant owing to cold winds.

Sheikhupura, Attock, Pasrur and surrounding areas also received the first rain of spring. While Bhakkar, Khushab, Joharabad and surrounding areas continue to receive thundershowers.

Agricultural experts said that the rain will have positive effects on gram and wheat crops.
