Imran Khan reaches IHC under police security
Strict security arrangements have been observed around the court and roads leading to the court have been blocked by placing containers.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Friday reached Islamabad High Court (IHC) under strict police security for his appearance in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Al-Qadir Trust case.
According to details, a divisional two-member bench comprising Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb and Justice Saman Rifat Imtiaz has been formed to hear the case.
At the instructions of Supreme Court of Pakistan, the former prime minister is being produced in the Islamabad High Court today in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
For his appearance in the IHC, strict security arrangements have been made around the court, whereas roads leading to the court have been blocked by placing containers.
A heavy contingent of Rangers and police has been deployed outside the Court, while Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel and Islamabad Police teams have been deployed on the Srinagar highway and around the court.
Islamabad Police is allowing entry to the relevant people in Islamabad High Court after checking.
Yesterday, Supreme Court declared the arrest of former Prime Minister and PTI chief Imran Khan as illegal in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
