Karachi: The abduction case of social human rights activist and lawyer Jibran Nasir has been registered.

According to police, the case has been registered against unidentified persons under the kidnapping section at Clifton police station against the complaint of Jibran's wife Mansha Pasha—actor of Pakistan television and film industry.

Notably, Mansha had submitted an appeal to register a case on the alleged kidnapping of her husband in Clifton police station.

Pasha stated in the petition that while passing near Defense Phase-V Karachi, their vehicle collided with a white double cabin and another silver colored Corolla blocked the way of their car.

According to the petitioner, there were about 15 armed persons in both the vehicles and “forced my husband to get out of the car”.

On the other hand, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South Asad Raza said that an application has been received regarding Jibran Nasir against which a case is being registered in Clifton police station under the kidnapping section.
