Cristiano Ronaldo receives Guinness World Records honors
Cristiano Ronaldo has no plan to retire from international football.
Riyadh: Guinness World Records has recognized Cristiano Ronaldo for his exceptional achievement in international football, honoring him with special recognition.
The legendary Portuguese footballer, currently representing Al-Nassr, reached the historic milestone of earning 200 international caps during Portugal's Euro 2024 Qualifiers match against Iceland on June 20.
To celebrate this extraordinary feat, Ronaldo was presented with an official certificate from Guinness World Records, solidifying his status as a record holder.
Additionally, he received a Portugal jersey bearing the number "200," symbolizing his remarkable caps.
Despite achieving this monumental record and already holding the title of Portugal's all-time leading scorer, the 38-year-old superstar has no intentions of retiring from international football.
Sports Brief quoted him as stating that he would "never give up" playing for Portugal.
