Lahore: Prime Minister Shehbaz on Sunday said if the people of Pakistan gave Nawaz Sharif another chance to govern the nation, he would transform it into a progressive nation.

Speaking at a check-distribution event for the Prime Minister Youth Business and Agriculture Loan initiative, he stated, "Under the leadership of Nawaz, we have delivered on the ground and those who were conspiring against the state had got their conspiracies buried."

Shehbaz stated that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and the whole leadership of the PML-N Pakistan Muslim League-N will change the direction of Pakistan's future by leading it on the path of development and prosperity if given the chance in the next general elections.

He added that they will accept the results of the next elections as the will of the people, and he asked voters to make their choices in light of the performance of the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN) governments and the PTI's four years of devastation.

The premier praised his elder brother's statesmanship and expressed regret that Nawas Sharif, the former prime minister and his leader, had been removed from office despite the fact that he had put an end to hours of crippling load shedding, given youth loans and laptops, and brought about multibillion-dollar CEPC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) power and road infrastructure projects in 2015.

On the other hand, he claimed that the PTI chairman had fear of the PML-N leadership and the opposition because he was obsessed with locking them up by fabricating false charges.

He further claimed that the PTI chairman was unable to comprehend the revolutionary policies implemented by the PML-N administration.

He said that all of the youth initiatives started under Nawaz Sharif's leadership, when the Punjab province alone witnessed the distribution of 50,000 vehicles to deserving individuals. The fact that 99% of loans were returned to banks may be used to measure the loan program's performance, he continued.

However, unlike Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI Chief, the PML-N Quaid never considered doing anything against the nation, according to PM Shehbaz, even though Nawaz Sharif and they had endured the worst form of political revenge and were even thrown into exile after leaving office.
