ATC extends PTI chairman's bail in six cases
The former prime minister was held in multiple cases including the attack on Jinnah House, Shadman police station, and Askari Tower.
Lahore: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore extended Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman’s bail in six different cases related to the May 9 cases, on Friday.
The former prime minister was held in multiple cases including the attack on Jinnah House, Shadman police station, and Askari Tower.
Following the expiration of his bail, the PTI leader appeared before the court and was given an extension until August 8.
In two cases, including the murder of Zille Shah and rioting, the decision on his bail remained pending.
Further it is important to note that the PTI leader has been involved in more than 100 cases around the country on various types of allegations.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi's interim release in three charges relating to vandalism on May 9 was extended by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore on Friday till August 8.
Moreover, Sessions Judge approved the bail after hearing arguments from Mr Qureshi’s lawyer in three cases including Jinnah House and Askari Tower attacks.
The Sarwar Road, Gulberg, and Race Course police stations have filed these cases against Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
