PML-N decides to delay tomorrow’s gathering in Khudian

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday decided to postpone its public gathering in Khudian, which was originally scheduled for Sunday, due to adverse weather conditions.

Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb conveyed this update through a tweet, stating that the gathering in Khudian, Kasur district, will now take place on August 5.

She further mentioned that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will address the attendees following the inauguration of the Lahore-Kasur-Bahawalnagar Motorway.

It may be mentioned here that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to inaugurate the road linking Kasur through Khudian to other cities including Okara, Pakpattan and Multan.

A purported video showing the workers pouring building material mixed with the coal on the road inundated under the rain water in a bid to complete it ahead of the PM’s visit. The video drew huge criticism from different quarters for allegedly wasting the public money.
