Quetta: Two cops were martyred on Tuesday as unknown gunmen attacked a polio vaccination team in Quetta’s suburban area.

Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, who was aware of the terrible incident, condemned the incident and expressed sorrow over the police officers' martyrdom.
The incident was identified by the chief minister as a plot against the children's bright future.
Bizenjo instructed the relevant authorities to employ all means at their disposal to apprehend those responsible for the attack.
It is important to note that, according to the director of the province's polio eradication program, a week-long campaign to provide polio vaccinations to over 2.6 million children under the age of five began on August 1.
The province Emergency Operation Center coordinator, Syed Zahid Shah, reported that 11,539 teams of health professionals had been organized for the seven-day campaign.
