Matthew stated that talks are the solution to Pakistan-India problems.

Washington DC: The response of US to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif's invitation to India for talks came to light.
Earlier on Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in his speech at the Mineral Summit in Islamabad said that he believes in peaceful resolution of conflicts, wars are not a solution to problems.
He added that talks can be taken forward and we have to spend our resources on public interest.
Shehbaz Sharif continued to say: “Pakistan is ready to talk with its neighbor as well, but the condition is that neighbor should also be ready to solve serious issues sitting on the table”.
However, now the US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller has responded to Prime Minister Shehbaz's invitation to India for talks, saying that Pakistan and India should resolve the issues through direct dialogue.
Matthew stated that talks are the solution to Pakistan-India problems, requesting Indians to remain peaceful and stay away from riots.
The spokesperson of the US Department of State further stated: “We do not favor political leaders or parties of any country including Pakistan, we support free, fair and transparent elections”.
Matthew Miller further said that Pakistan is given four million dollars annually for counter-narcotics.
