PTI chairman's request for transfer to Adiala Jail met with protests
The Registrar's Office of the Islamabad High Court objected to the lack of jurisdiction.
Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has received objections to the request for the transfer of the PTI Chairman from Attock Jail to Adiala Jail.
The Registrar's Office of the Islamabad High Court raised objections to the lack of jurisdiction.
Additionally, objections were also raised regarding the absence of the Chairman's signature on the power of attorney.
The Assistant Registrar of the Diary Branch has also raised protests.
There is a possibility that the request may be scheduled for a hearing tomorrow.
The request seeks the Chairman's unlawful detention in Attock Jail and demands A-class facilities for him in the jail.
Furthermore, the request states that Dr. Faisal Sultan should be allowed to conduct a medical check-up with the PTI Chairman, and he should be permitted to meet his family and lawyers.
