Imran's principal secretary appears before JIT for Cypher investigation
Azam Khan is currently recording his statement at the FIA headquarters.
Islamabad: The former Prime Minister Imran Khan's Principal Secretary, Azam Khan, appeared before a joint investigation team for questioning in the Cypher investigation.
Azam Khan is currently recording his statement at the FIA headquarters in front of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT).
This move comes after JIT requested his presence for the investigation.
It's worth noting that in the past, Imran Khan's former Principal Secretary, Azam Khan, had recorded his statement regarding the Cypher case, where he alleged that Cypher was part of a calculated conspiracy.
Last year, during a session, Imran Khan had produced a letter from his pocket, claiming that the opposition's vote of no-confidence against him was a result of a "foreign conspiracy" due to his foreign policy.
He also alleged that funds were sent from abroad to remove him from power.
