Quetta: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has confirmed that the mobile phone internet services in parts of Balochistan had been suspended temporarily on Friday.
The decision came after the instructions issued by the concerned authorities to suspend the mobile phone internet services, said the PTA officials.
The measures had been taken to maintain the law and order situation in the relevant areas of the province.
The PTA had made it clear that the decision to suspend the internet mobile services temporarily is made to ensure the protection of the masses.
