Sydney: Sydney police have apprehended 45-year-old former Pakistani model Muhammad Arif Ali for allegedly spreading false bomb rumors on an MH122 international flight bound for Kuala Lumpur.
According to foreign media, during a Sydney to Kuala Lumpur flight, Muhammad Arif Ali was arrested by Sydney police after allegedly spreading false bomb rumors on the plane.
Australian police report that Muhammad Arif Ali claimed there was explosive material in his bag on the flight, resulting in his arrest.
After the plane was redirected back to Sydney, he was taken into custody over allegations of spreading false rumors and making threats to cause damage to the plane.
Muhammad Arif Ali, known for his appearance in the famous song "Preeto," has previously been involved in the entertainment industry and modeling after quitting the modeling profession.
A viral video on social media shows Muhammad Arif Ali engaging in discussions with fellow passengers and crew on the plane after performing religious practices, repeatedly asking them whether they consider themselves slaves of God.
