Islamabad: A case has been registered against Shayan Ali—a social media activist of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)—in Ramna police station of Islamabad.
According to details, social media activist Shayan Ali is accused of defaming a judicial officer on social media.
A case has been registered against Shayan Ali at Ramna police station in Islamabad and the case includes provisions of sedition and terrorism.
In the First Information Report (FIR), it was said that the accused made videos of the judicial officer in London and also tried to attack him. On which the security personnel took action and saved the officer.
It was also stated in the FIR that Adil Farooq Raja was also active online while PTI London official Sara Mir and Imran Khalil were also involved.
Shayan and his colleagues incited Pakistanis against the judicial officer, tried to obstruct their legal responsibility and called them traitors.
The accused launched a campaign against the judicial officer in the training institute and threatened to make his life hell.
According to the FIR, an atmosphere of fear was created by such incidents which are also a form of terrorism.
