Over 350 people have lost their lives in the recent rains and floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Peshawar: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir have set out to visit the flood-affected areas.
Their first stop was Swat, where they were received by Federal Minister Amir Muqam. According to officials, the Prime Minister and Field Marshal have now departed for Buner, where they will visit flood-hit regions.
It is worth noting that over 350 people have lost their lives in the recent rains and floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with 228 of the deceased belonging to Buner district.
Meanwhile, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) continues the delivery of relief supplies to flood-affected areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to NDMA, two separate consignments were dispatched this morning to Bajaur and Mansehra. These include tents, blankets, generators, dewatering pumps, ration bags, and medicines.
The relief goods will be handed over to the respective district administrations for distribution among flood victims. NDMA, in collaboration with the armed forces and welfare organizations, is sending aid to both Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan.
