The former lawmaker was detained for interfering in government affairs.


Islamabad: Former Member National Assembly (MNA) Ali Wazir have been arrested by the Islamabad Police on Sunday.
According to the Tarnol Police Station, the former lawmaker was detained for interfering in government affairs.
Earlier, the Tarnol Police had also arrested Imaan Mazari, the daughter of former federal minister Shireen Mazari.
Shireen shared the news on social media website X, former twitter, that "the officials broke open the door of her house and took away her daughter in her night dress."
Furthermore, Shireen Mazari revealed that she asked them about their intent, but they dragged Imaan and proceeded to search every corner of her house.
She said that she and Imaan were inside the home at the time of the raid.
