TikTok, Telegram banned in Somalia
The government of Somalia has taken this step before the operation against the militant group al-Shahab.

Mogadishu: The government of Somalia has banned social media applications TikTok and Telegram.
According to foreign media, the government of Somalia is of the opinion that terrorists can use TikTok and Telegram to spread propaganda, so they have been banned the apps.
A decree has been issued by the Ministry of Communication Somalia, in which it is said that the internet service companies must ensure the ban on TikTok and Telegram from August 24.
According to the news agency, the government of Somalia has taken this step before the operation against the militant group al-Shahab.
