Religious Affairs Minister calls for unity to eliminate religious extremism
Aneeq Ahmed stresses upon the masses to forge unity among their ranks to eliminate intolerance and extremism and create religious harmony in Pakistan.
Islamabad: Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Aneeq Ahmed on Wednesday called upon all segments of the society to collectively play their part to eliminate religious animosity and extremism.
Talking to media in Jaranwala on Wednesday, he stressed upon the masses to forge unity among their ranks to eliminate intolerance and extremism and create religious harmony in Pakistan.
He said that he supports the idea of legal justice to protect the lives and property of every Pakistani and ensured the implementation of law and justice at every step.
Aneeq Ahmed lauded the role of caretaker Chief Minister Punjab, divisional and district administration, police and all team to cope with this emergency swiftly and appreciated their efforts regarding rehabilitation of churches and houses on urgent basis.
