I gathered money for my father's burial: Farah Khan
I was 18 or 19 years old when my father died, the Indian Director.

New Delhi: Farah Khan, a renowned Bollywood choreographer, director, and producer, has achieved fame and success in the entertainment industry.
However, she recently revealed a challenging chapter from her early life when she had to collect money for her father's funeral.
During a recent interview, Farah Khan shared a personal anecdote about the difficult circumstances her family faced when her father passed away.
She recalled that on the day of his father's demise, she had only 30 rupees in her pocket, which was insufficient for a proper burial.
In that moment of distress, she and her brother, Sajid Khan, had to gather funds to ensure their father's dignified last rites.
Farah explained that her father didn't have a stable job or income source, and the responsibility of running the household fell on her family's shoulders.
She also reminisced about her early years, mentioning that when she was 18 or 19 years old, her family faced another challenge when they were asked to vacate the storeroom they were living in.
The space they occupied was needed by her uncle, who was returning from Iran.
Despite these hardships, Farah Khan's family persevered, and her mother, who was working as a housekeeper at the Sea Rock Hotel, became a paying guest to make ends meet.
