Technical malfunction in the system of NADRA's passport offices, caused a disruption in office operations that lasted for a duration of two hours: Sources.

Karachi: Technical issues struck passport offices nationwide, causing delays and inconvenience for thousands of citizens, including those in Karachi.
Sources report that a system connected to NADRA's passport offices experienced a technical malfunction, preventing the upload of applicant data.
As a result, individuals seeking passports had to endure extended wait times after photo and biometric processing.
Operations in all passport offices across the country came to a halt for over two hours due to these technical problems.
Once the system was restored, entry processing resumed.
It's important to note that the surge in passport applications has led to delays in passport issuance across the nation.
