No chance of Nawaz Sharif’s arrest on arrival: Ishaq Dar

Lahore: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and former finance minister Ishaq Dar said that there is no chance of arresting party chief Nawaz Sharif on his return to the country.
In an interview to a private TV channel, Ishaq Dar stated that Nawaz Sharif will arrive in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday where he will perform Umrah and visit Medina. After that he will arrive in Pakistan on October 21 traveling from a Gulf country.
He continued to say: “There is no chance of arresting Nawaz Sharif on his return as he will take protected custody and transit bail on return”.
Ishaq Dar added that they will try to get a clear majority in the upcoming elections. The narrative of (N) League will be that the recovery of economy is the best revenge.
The former finance minister said that the truth commission on the characters of Project Imran is included in our agenda, ‘however we do not want to take any action that smells of revenge,’ he added.
The truth commission will bring out the facts of the characters of Project Imran from 2011.
