PTI's Liberty rally case: LHC directs DC to decide by tomorrow
The petitioner requested that the court should allow Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to hold a rally at Liberty Chowk.
Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Thursday directed the Deputy Commissioner (DC) to take a decision by tomorrow on the issue of permission for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) to hold a rally in Liberty Chowk Lahore.
According to details, Lahore High Court Justice Raheel Kamran heard PTI's appeal for permission to hold a rally at Liberty Chowk.
Justice Raheel Kamran directed the Deputy Commissioner to decide on the request by tomorrow saying that the decision should be made by tomorrow whether to grant permission or not, and if not, then for what reasons.
It is pertinent to note that PTI Central Punjab Additional Secretary Azimullah approached the Lahore High Court on the issue of the rally. The Deputy Commissioner has not yet taken any decision on the application.
The petitioner requested that the court should allow Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf to hold a rally at Liberty Chowk.
