Parvez Elahi's judicial remand extended for 14 days
The court also adjourned the hearing till November 30.
Lahore: District Kachehri Lahore Thursday extended the judicial remand of former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi for 14 days.
According to details, Parvez Elahi has been under arrest in the case of alleged recruitments in the Punjab Assembly and was produced in the court of the Judicial Magistrate in District Kachehri.
Judicial Magistrate Imran Abid heard the anti-corruption petition against the former chief minister of Punjab.
The court extended the judicial remand for 14 days while allowing him to meet his family and lawyers in the jail. The court also adjourned the hearing till November 30.
