Islamabad: Supreme Court of Pakistan will hear the bail appeal case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in cypher case today for the first time.
According to the details, a three-member bench headed by Justice Sardar Tariq Masood comprising Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Ayesha Malik will hear the case.
The Registrar Office of Supreme Court has issued a notice to Chairman PTI's legal team.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan through lawyer Latif Khosa filed an appeal against the decision of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) in which it was appealed that the cypher case against the Chairman PTI be dismissed. Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Federation have been made parties in the appeal.
It is pertinent to note that earlier on October 27, the Islamabad High Court rejected the bail appeal of Chairman PTI in the cypher case.
