Nawaz Sharif’s nomination papers filed from Lahore’s NA-130
Bilal Yasmin, the PML-N leader and close relative of Sharifs, has filed the nomination papers of Nawaz Sharif for constituency of the National Assembly in Lahore.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) Supremo Nawaz Sharif on Sunday filed the nomination papers for Lahore's NA-130 constituency.
Bilal Yaseen, PML-N Lahore leader overseeing the candidacy in the constituency, submitted Nawaz Sharif's nomination papers to the Returning Officer.
Scrutiny of Sharif's nomination papers is scheduled for Tuesday, December 26.
Bilal Yaseen mentioned that Nawaz Sharif planned to contest elections from the National Assembly constituencies of Mansehra and Lahore.
The party previously submitted Sharif's nomination papers for NA-15, Mansehra, on Friday.
Captain (retired) Safdar, accompanied by former federal minister Sardar Yousuf and Barrister Jahangir Jadoon, submitted the papers with the Returning Officer for the Mansehra constituency.
PML-N also submitted nomination papers for Maryam Nawaz from Sargodha’s Punjab Assembly constituency PP-80. Sohaib Barath, a local party leader, submitted the papers with Shahpur’s Returning Officer.
