During the hearing, Justice Adnan Al-Karim Memon asked if candidates are being deliberately prevented from contesting the elections.


Lahore: The Election Tribunal accepted the appeal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Subhan Sahil from NA-243 and Amjad Afridi from NA-242.
According to the details, the appeals of the candidates against the decisions of the Returning Officers (RO) were heard in the Election Tribunal.
The appeal of PTI candidate Husnain Chauhan from PS-113 has also been rejected, while the appeal of Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Rauf Ahmed against the decision of the Returning Officer has also been accepted.
The Election Tribunal allowed independent candidates Rafia Hasan to contest from PS-126 and Faizan Zeeshan from NA-237.
During the hearing, Justice Adnan Al-Karim Memon asked if candidates are being deliberately prevented from contesting the elections. It seems that the returning officer rejected the amateur nomination papers.
Justice Adnan Al-Kareem said that no one can be prevented from contesting the elections on the basis of cases. If the returning officer could not identify the facts properly with binoculars, how can we do?
While talking to the candidates and lawyers, Justice Memon said that go and prepare to contest the elections.
