Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 3,084 cases of coronavirus were reported while 74 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 20,251.
The total number of confirmed cases reached to 900,552.
As many as 817,681 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,392 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 333,971 in the province with 9,768 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 308,118 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,909.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 129,413 in the province with 3,924 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 24,517 confirmed cases while 270 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 18,739 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 528. On the other hand, there are 5,482 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 80,312 cases in the capital city while 745 people have lost their lives.
