UK high commissioner meets Bilawal Bhutto in Islamabad
Jean Marriot said: “The upcoming general elections to be held on February 8, 2024 are essential for the future of Pakistan”.
Islamabad: British High Commissioner Jean Marriot met with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Islamabad on Wednesday.
In the meeting, various topics including the economic situation and Pak-UK relationship, popped in the conversation.
Jean Marriot said: “The upcoming general elections to be held on February 8, 2024 are essential for the future of Pakistan”.
It is pertinent to mention here that before meeting with Bilawal Bhutto, UK High Commissioner met with the former prime minister and the supermo of Pakistan-Muslim-League N (PMLN) Nawaz Sharif and the Pakistan-Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar.
