FIA arrests Zardari's friend's son at Karachi Airport
It is to be noted that Nimer is likely to appear in the Accountability court today (Monday).
Karachi: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has apprehended Nimer Majeed, the son of Anwar Majeed, a close friend of the former President Asif Ali Zardari at Karachi Airport.
According to the details, Nimer Majeed was released and allowed to go home from the airport after the alleged intervention of a senior person.
Nimer went abroad with one-time permission and he returned home more than the specific time period. He had arrived in Karachi from abroad along with his father and other family members. His name was on the FIA's stop list on the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) request.
NAB had also blacklisted his passport. The department is investigating the fake accounts case against the accused Nimer.
It is to be noted that Nimer is likely to appear in the Accountability court today (Monday).
