Sanam Javaid's post arrest bail acceded
The Supreme Court (SC) had annulled the decision to reject the nomination papers of Sanam Javaid.
Lahore: Anti-terrorism court (ATC) has acceded the post- arrest bail application of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) leader Sanam Javaid in the case of torching of PML-N office on May 9 in lieu of a bail bond of Rs0.2 million.
According to the details, ATC judge Arshad Javed Chadhar pronounced the verdict. Deputy Prosecutor Abdul Jabbar Dogar said Sanam incited people to vandalize and torch the office. She threw petrol bombs on that day.
Therefore, Model town police has registered a case against Sanam Javaid for burning office of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N). Sanam was allowed by the Supreme Court to contest the elections from NA-119, NA-120 and PP-150.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court of Pakistan had allowed PTI’s leader Sanam Javed to contest the election during the hearing on January 26.
The Supreme Court (SC) had annulled the decision to reject the nomination papers of Sanam Javaid. SC had also ordered the Election Commission to give electoral symbol to Sanam.
