Raja Riaz claims Ali Zafar's report has given clean chit to Jahangir Tareen
Lahore: Member National Assembly (MNA) and senior leader of the Jahangir Khan Tareen group, Raja Riaz has claimed that the report by Barrister Ali Zafar has given cleat chit to Jahangir Tareen.
While talking to media, Raja Riaz said that Senator Ali Zafar has submitted his report, which was shared with Prime Minister Imran Khan as well.
“Thanks to Allah, Jahangir Tareen has been cleared of all charges and no fraud was proven against him in sugar scandal,” he said adding that Barrister Ali Zafar has declared Tareen innocent in his report.
The MNA further said that it is an embarrassing moment for those who conspired against Tareen.
He also extended gratitude towards Imran Khan for appointing a neutral umpire.
"Ali Zafar has held hours-long meetings on the case. We were saying that it was a false case and now a neutral umpire has seconded us," Riaz said adding that it is a slap on the faces of those who had termed us as blackmailers.
Earlier this month, Imran Khan had asked Ali Zafar to investigate into the allegations of victimization and report to him.
