Punjab Police has installed cameras at the most sensitive polling stations.


Lahore: Inspector General (IG) of Police Punjab, Usman Anwar has said that the Punjab Police is ready for the peaceful conduct of the upcoming general elections ahead on February 8.
Usman Anwar stated that strict action will be taken against those who tamper with the election process, taking the law into their hands or violating the elections code of conduct will be dealt strictly.
He remarked that violation of election code is absolutely not allowed during the polls, Punjab Police has installed cameras at the most sensitive polling stations.
IG further said that after the free and fair elections, an elected democratic government will take the country forward, together with the national institutions will maintain the atmosphere of law and order during the elections.
